Project introduction
Reverse engineering is, dissembling an object to analyze how it functions in goal to duplicate or enhance it.
My partner and I came up with possible enhancements by thinking what would seem appealing to children of younger ages. Also a product that parents would want to buy their children, as they do apply to younger ages. This enhancements were made to apply to some kids who weren't into boring old cars, and kids who wanted more excitement with the build.

Summarize
1st) Visual analysis
-In this step you only look at the product and understand all its features. The reasoning for this is to better understand what the object can or can't do.
2nd) Functional analysis
-In this step observations are made to see how the product works and functions. Engineers would test the object to see how it reacts and learn about how it reacts, this is called the "black box model"
3rd) Structural analysis
-In this step the engineers disassemble the object to figure out how each part works and how it affects the final product. This step is very important because it helps the engineers learn how to recreate the object, and to also find out its weaknesses.
Define a Problem
Me and my partner got along very well, so the project went by fast with only a few difficulties. We both played our parts, talked to each other during class and via text. We both worked really hard to finish the project even though we ran into some difficulties we still pulled it off. I am pleased with our final product.
Generating concepts
Evaluate the solution
The reactions i got were very positive and people were intrigued with the new additions. The 2 people i asked really liked the upgrade and thought it was a unique addition and good way to appeal to more kids. I didn't get any suggestions about the upgrades being to much, and they wouldn't be difficult for children to understand how to use.
Present the solution
This project was a great experience, i had a lot of fun working with lanie and there was a lot of teamwork between us, and we were always supporting each others ideas. The final design turned out great and seemed like it would be very appealing to kids and looked very realistic. Some factors that should be considered are, will it affect the design in a positive way, will it appeal to more people, and is the change or enhancement necessary. Its important to document your brainstorming ideas so that if someone else copies your ideas, you have proof that you had idea first. The purpose of sketching your ideas is another way to prove its your idea, and helps make it easier for you to 3-d model it.
